Most couldn't walk into a grocery store and fill their carts with healthy Mediterranean products like olive oil, fish, yogurt, etc.  The MFA's mission centers around filling this information gap. Our goal is is to take people from a vague stage of awareness about the Mediterranean Diet to an action stage -- one where they can recognize and choose healthy Mediterranean foods and drinks on their own.  They do this through innovative programs designed to open consumers' eyes to the health benefits (and pleasure) of eating a Med Diet AND to guide them to health-promoting Mediterranean foods and drinks.
